bringing change

Bringing change to life in teams and organisations

Bringing positive change is the heart of what people want, collaborative leadership is a key way to get there, and there are many capabilities required to make that all work. We focus on all three dimensions simultaneously to ensure that the change you want to see can be generated and sustained.

People think they see the same thing – but they actually see from different perspectives – which means they see different things.  This creates misunderstandings, mis-alignment or unproductive tensions. We provide the processes and methodologies for getting the most out of everybody’s perspectives – quickly. While you may well have broader vision and greater insight than most, unless others see and understand what you do, they cannot support you well. And unless you see and understand their world and constraints, your solutions will have blind spots and misunderstandings that can hinder effective implementation.

We help you define and deliver strategy that can be actioned and delivered by your team and organisation.

We would be happy to tell you more & share some examples of our work when we meet.

Self organising teams need tools to address how they are working together, as well as what they are doing. Without that, they often complain about feeling alienated in a “machine” dedicated to the task, but not taking care of the people. We build the capacity for your team to figure out how to work together well – so they can get on with the job they’re supposed to be doing!

This has brought us to support organisations moving to alternative & progressive forms of organisations like self-organising teams, holacracy, U-labs, responsive organisations, etc.

The desire for status, power and recognition can overwhelm how people do their work. Rather than pulling together, they may undermine each other’s work. Others may feel their own work is compromised in these struggles, and pull back. Ultimately, the performance of the team suffers.

We work with individuals and teams to build understanding, common purpose, and the joint will to proceed together. We would be happy to tell you more & share some examples through a confidential conversation.

Responsible businesses consider society, economy and environment, and they do so not only within their own organisation, but across their whole supply chain.

This type of systemic endeavour tends to be highly complex and can quickly become hard work. Engaging stakeholders across the supply chain, or actors within a specific industry, calls for the careful creation of spaces that are safe enough and inspiring to invite for openness, transparency and collaboration.

While you have a vision and aspiration, you might be unsure how to bring other organisations along with you towards it.

We can work together with you to envision and craft this journey, design spaces to bring together into dialogue various parts of the ecosystem, facilitate conversations and navigate through the emerging dynamics and needs.

We build for this on our experience of co-holding processes in complex and multicultural environments – including in the mining and textile industries -, sitting with ambiguity and navigating through often unknown and evolving territories.

We would be happy to tell you more & share some examples of our work in this field when we meet.

Bringing together groups of randomly selected citizens to deliberate on a specific topic critical for a country or community invites for a wide range and very rich spectrum of perspectives, experiences and ideas.

Crafting, co-holding and facilitating such participatory processes over several months requires skills and experience in designing and hosting complex and evolutionary processes over time – to engage all participants, jointly create a deeper understanding of the societal challenge at play and develop new solutions together.

For this, we are drawing and building on our experiences and learnings of co-designing and co-facilitating the first two national citizens assemblies – trilingual – that were held in Switzerland in 2022 and 2023; they each brought 80 participants from various backgrounds and walks of life to jointly develop solutions respectively around the topics of food policy for Switzerland by 2030 and mental health for young people.

See your way clear

Your situation is unique, and we don’t believe an off-the-shelf solution will really help you shift your organisation.
We will meet with you, face to face or virtually, to determine how best to work together.
We’ll make you a proposal, and map out the programme you desire.
Or. You can test us out.
We can come and run an opening workshop to give you a feel for how we work and the kinds of value you would receive.
